Wowie. The homework intensity is truely amazing. I have never experienced such work intensity my whole life. Today I went kayaking. It was especially interesting. We sailed across the Indian Arm and had fun cruising around in wet jumpsuits and mud. We saw seals, loons and starfish. It was all good. Plus I gave my shoulders a decent workout. Anyways, I managed to survive french.

Nice day. I played violin ok at class, screwing up the pieces I knew I didn't practice well enough. However, I did mess up on one of my main pieces that I did practice well.

I failed at harmony today. Screwed up on a dead easy page, and failed my homework. Anyways, I had some fun with science, finishing the picture yesterday and played around with the notes and CYUs.

What a beautiful day. I had a perfect day in class and out. The sky's all blue and weather nice, plus I finished both my English and my French presentations! Can you believe how free I am?!

Actually, reality is I'm not so free. I have two french worksheets, lots of science and Harmony due all over the weekend. Too bad. There always seems to be a price for every good deed I receive.

What a great day to me... Too bad not so much Vania and Jessica. They both didn't get such a good mark. To our disappointment, the english teacher marked them really hard.

Anyhow, I need to start working on our french skit due tommorrow. It is quite disturbing to forget all you lines in the middle of the skit in front of Chuaqui. Anyhow, I also need to start on the gruesome package Tang has assigned us in Science. A whole chapter due in less than a week. Need to start cracking.

Can't wait to start tommorrow on our rockets in AS! Can't wait really.

Donation of Tuques!

Last Thursday, I went to the Salvation Army at 67th and Granville to donate my tuques and bag with my friends Sean, Aaron and Wayne. It was a nice day, and the staff there were nice too. They kindly accepted our gifts without too much question or objection.

Afterwards I felt really lighthearted and happy for accomplishing this homework and handing out all my tuques in high hopes they could be of need to someone else out there. I felt strangely that all my hardwork in making the tuques would come around to be of happiness for someone else less fortunate.

My week passed painfully. My group got mad at me because I couldn't attend the important practices. However, I did go today, and we are set as ever to go tommorrow.

I did not go and act my French skit today. I was not ready, meaning I did not have it memorized. But lucky for me, i now have an extended period of time to memorize it now. There was a sub for Chuaqui today and lucky me!

Strings was cool. We went to play at the Seniors House, but, did not recieve any cookies or milk, but had fun pushing the trolley of stands back.

My week passed horribly. But to make a lighter mood of it, I performed quite well in my tests and homework, I noticed. My english test ran pretty smoothly if you do not count to two easy screwups I made. But other than that, my answers were confident and clear.

Homework was not such an issue this week. I managed to complete everything nicely.

With the Sun Run coming this weekend, I'm not so certain I'm as fit as last year. I hope I will be my personel best. I really hope I haven't disfigured my strength.

In Foods we did a lab, on salad, can you ever believe how much oil they put in caesar?? Or greek? Urgg its disguesting, and it took so long too, i was rushing to PE during the break =S
Because of the rain we did badminton, i didnt play badminton for at least 2 years now, faillz. Sharon was laughing at my lousy skills, >.> i used to be good at it =(
Had to bus to Richmond for an extra piano class, got really wet on the way..
Im considering whether or not to pick up my math lessons, i mean, im rushing heads on into summer school then fast forwarding into Grade 11 enrich math, im not sure if i can make it. I didnt take math lessons for..3 years? Im confident right now, but im really not sure about the whole skip-a-grade thing.
Sometimes just by thinking about the future scares me, i dont know what im going to do for a living when i grow up, i dont have a destinated place, unlike some of my classmates, the synergies, they know what they are doing and they know where they are heading, I envy them.
I want to go into mathematics, but my parents are quite strong on this point, they kept saying i will never find a career in math, ever met a mathematician in real life? They bring that up every time =.=. They both want me to go into science, but with so many people banging on that door im hesitant. My relatives suggested Law, but isnt that..super boring? lol..Or I can be a teacher, but thats not exactly what i imagined myself doing, in a classroom facing 20 some kids and just talk, and give detention to children or to scold them, just...not..used to that idea.
Seriously, the unknown future is scary, and knowing i have to embrace it makes it even scarier.

I waited until almost midnight yesterday for Alexander to reply, he never did, so I didnt plan anything for today. Well, i was gonna stay home all day long and just do nothing, but my parents literally pushed me out of the door and shut the door on me, telling me i need to move. So I went to metro, all by myself since none of my friends were available, thats one of the cons of having nerdy friends, hw is always the priority =.=
It was extremely boring and exhausting and tedious to shop alone, one hour of bus there and one hour back plus 1 hour in between, i did see some really good stuff, but my mom will never let me buy them, since they arent "necessities" - -
Don't think tmrls gonna be much better, although library would be an excellent idea. I can't think of any hw, the only project is the Shakespeare play, but my partner, Alexander, isnt exactly willing. Oh right, i didnt mention my awesome feat, i convinced Alexander to be Titania!!!! I am thrilled, hes gonna wear a dress and say the line " and I am to be thy lady", lmao!
Im really happy about this because
First, Titania has soo many more lines than Oberon
Second, as I mentioned, the play will be humorous
Third, i always wanted to try a male role
Fourth, I think Mr.Hauck will add on marks if we switched roles around =D He does like when he switched genders around when we were reading out the play, think he will enjoy our play =D
I found tons of awesome piano sheets online, my piano teacher doesnt exactly like it when I always go off and find music pieces, but she let me do it, so everythings fine =D I found this really good piece called "River Flows In You." Im trying to memorize it right now, and when I do i will post it on the blogger as a SB =)
I also found a piece from Howl's Moving Castle, its awesome =)
Most of the pieces are from dramas or anime, i found anime's music are much more...open and more optimistic than the drama music. But also they are soo much harder to play, with all the 16th notes and the grace notes and the octaves =.=

Urgg forgot to do my blog yesterday.
Today was awesome, relatively easy and pressure-less.
First block assembly, lectures.
Second block was app skills. We didnt practice the songs, but we were assigned to a new assignment, we are to do the other person's blog for them. =.= to build empathy. I was suppose to be partners with another guy, according to a previous experience with the alphabet order in grade 8, but the teacher missed my name, and now Im paired up with someone else, not saying its bad, its...interesting..xP
In Foods we didnt do anything , soo boring T-T. There should seriously be more synergy people, at least more people who would like to play cards..
During lunch I watched Lord Of the Rings, i memorized most of it from last year, but there isnt anything else to do during lunch, except gossiping, which is extremely pointless.
PE was actually fun today, xD. We did a class game today, using the full field. THat was awesome, our team won! Even though the opposing team had soo many good players xD
I phoned my piano teacher last night about the piano competition. She sounded a bit disappointed with my ranking, which made me feel really guilty..T_T
I just had this long talk with my mom about future and stuff. We watched this education video during app skills about education, and I brought it up when i was helping my mom make dinner, well...My mom had some insights about it, and we had such a long talk, which turned into a lecture...
BTw that education video is rather profound, well..yeah, i think Mr.Olson is going to give us another big project. I remember in my grade 7 i participated in this mentorship project that MYs had to do in grade 9, its all about education, im wondering if the video is somewhat related to the project, T-T i seriously dont want to do the project, i suck at teaching T-T..

Had piano in the morning, i slacked during the whole week, so..=.=
Alexander still hasnt emailed me back yet, we were planning to rehearse, but I guess its not possible now, since we dont have a fixed time and place to rehearse and he is not replying.
A family friend of my parents came over today, had two children over as well. I thought it was gonna be the whole baby sitting routine all over again, but thankfully one of the kids is old enough to wanna go shopping, so i just took them to a mall and waited while they busied themselves with anime figures and stuff animals, =D
In the evening i went to church, today we drew a graph on happiness, so the Y axis was the rating of how happy u were from 1- 10, and the X axis is ur age, so basically u draw out a line on what ur life looks like, mine was all the way at the top, mainly because i can never remember those unpleasant memories xD
Im worried about that English skit because my partner is alexander, i think that should be quite self-explanatory.

What a great week. With all the tests done and all the tests given back, I'm happy to report no injuries in my mark has happened so far. Except my big english test. I didn't do so well on that. I got an overall mark of 75%.
My friend Aaron, however, beat me by alot. A good 82%.

I didn't practice violin alot this week, doing only a bit on the days I wasn't working on Ms. Tang's homework furiously. I need to catch up on my harmony and eartraining excercises.

And finally, I conclude this blog mentioning my joy of playing badminton. To tell the truth, I always thought badminton was a sport for the inactive and weak? Now I found out otherwise. It is an active and tight game, much more physically requiring than basketball. I wish that someday in the future will I be allowed to follow extend, as in training, my skill as a badminton player.

I don't like Ms. Tang very much. She screwed my Easter break up really bad. Through my whole break, I went outside twice to play ball, once on a trip to North Vancouver with my parents and once to my violin class. Homework is drudgery again. I was just recovering form my report card failure, but no. I can't even release my stress on basketball properly. Today was an exception though: I played ball after school with this guy from UBC in tight games: he beat me first 11-7 then I countered with 7-4 and finally I won the match with 5-1. Not bragging. Merely stating the truth. Plus that guy was playing for the first time in two weeks.

Great days...of feeling extremely mad at everyone around me. I'm serious, lately I've been developing weird feelings of utter destruction, probably due from the stress of report card day and violin and harmony and my ear training. Jeezus, when I procrastinate and slack off after school for just those very precious few seconds, my parents get mad at me for not practicing my music. I know, I know, I should never have taken up slaking off, but that's what I can do in the past few days after provincial basketball and school.

We played in the provincials these past few days. I woke up at 6:15 to go to Port Coquitlam (the trip took 2 hours) and played until getting back home at 8pm. In the end, we lost to a school we once beat by ten, and losing to another Richmond school we should have won against, due to our poor ball handling. Then I slept late over the weekend to finish my homework.

ANyways, my first day of spring break went along well.I spent some time with family instead of staying home and completing my homework.
Friday was awesome though. I went volunteering at the DLG carnival, and it was pretty fun! Other then me failing trying to manage two stations at once with millions of kids swarming over me, I felt successful afterwards!

What a horrible yet pleasant day. I failed orientering,getting a 10/17 for my last gym mark for the term. Then I got my math back: 10/10. Then I went to science and got above 98% on all my tests and work, except for this one mark that I messed upon: 13/15. English was ok. I passed with the class assignment.

What a horrible day. I did ok in gym, running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I did ok in math, coming home with math homework. I did ok at the science unit test. It was easy until the questions that didn't make any sense whatsoever.
English was ok. We did a begining of our poetry unit: by handing back some marks! I got B's and B's and C+'s and one gooooood A. I failed in basketball practise. I came home to fail to study for french.

What a fun day. I went outside for a good 2 hours of basketball. That was of course after a bad morning of music homework. I failed my violin class. I have got to practice better. Maybe it was my week's lack of time, or maybe I was procrastinating too much. Anyhow, I'm good to go for the final week until spring vaction! Plus Canada won another gold against the US! Yeah!

Thankfully, the week is coming close to mid week. SO far, I finished a stressful SS essay exam, a Pascal Math test, two messed up Science quizs, and is presently working on a French final project. I am hoping that I don't mess this one up.

Homework's been stressful lately too. I slept at 10:30 for no reason at all, due to the majority of the class's lack of eyesight. Looks like it's going ot be a tough week to fight ot the end.

What a good day. I did ok in gym, making all of my three laps without getting screwed over by my weakened legs, and played volleyball at an acceptable pace. I could overhand serve sometimes, and by fluke would do a totally not expected good serve. Math was cool, we did some brain cramping questions before retreating into a nice olympic show. Science was work back and marking other science fairs... we failed.
Last block was english, when we did debate.

Another week of total homework. Everything was due last week. I managed to finish a quite decent job on the science fair, finishing my debate in english on the first day with good compliments form the teacher, passed my SS map wiht a 87%. Everything seemed to have happened all at once and by the long weekend, I was completely drained. What was even more interesting was that I still managed to find time to finish my french speech with great marks! Yeah, what a week. But Monday destroyed me. Basketball practise at 3, I got destroyed by the intense running and pushups. We did drags across the gym, push ups right after, bunny hops, duck walks, one footed jumps... We did ten lines in total, with about 5 wind sprints, and play reviews. So painful. ANd now my quads are injured. Still, I've managed to keep the homework load down. I think my life needs adjustments. My harmony and violin is mentally painful.

What a crazy Friday. I woke up at just the right time to fail miserably. I woke up from my alarm that plays the radio, and just laid there listening to all that junk music. Can you believe it? I then had science where I had an easy test with a nice movie to watch. Math was next and I finished the homework in class!

Last block was gym. It was a fun time. I then took a book test that I couldn't remember that clearly. Strange because I read it about a few weeks ago.

I got screwed over later by the 17 and 410 buses and picked up my sister late.The teacher ws pissed because I was the most late to pick up the kids.

I turned up late for our afternoon game too. I went to the elementary school beside the actual school and had to ask 4 people to find the way.

We won with a hard 83-32.

Boy how time flies...
This week started off with me sick with a slight flu and still going to school (under a bit of medication to keep the fever down). I had too much school work to risk if I stayed home. However I did manage to mess up a french test and get my basketball coach pissed off that I was going to have to skip about 6 practices and games to heal back from the flu. I did my homework and all, but when I came home that day, I fell asleep in bed and slept all the way to seven before crawling out of bed to eat some light dinner. Then I did some homework and felll asleep again to next morning's 7, for my dad to drive me to school.

Then the next day happened exactly the same. I was still sick.

But finally, I got better. Today I went to both practises to regain my self conciousnous. We ran, and dribbled, and worked hard and it was all good.

By the way, I'm really enjoying gym class. I love gymnastics this year!

Another day, another life. I woke up at 7:45 after sleeping at 11 yesterday, to go to violin class. I got the 410 and skytrain on time, but missed the 3 so I had to retake the Canada line to 49th and Langara to take the 49th to Main and wlk down.

I wasn't late, making the 9 appointment at 9:01. I succeeded in classand came home to a great lunch and basketball. Then I did my eartraining.

I woke up at 10 and ate breakfast. Later I played violin for about two hours and harmony for one. Lunch was fast and Wayne was too busy at a soccer game to do the science fair with me. Now I have guests over for dinner.

Another tiring day. I have a french exam next class along with our IB biographies and my strings solo. Can't believe it, I actually have to practise school music!

I was late picking up mysister because of the delay of 410 and later I found out I didn't have the key back home and had to call and wait for my dad to deliver it.

So sad.

We won against Hamber really bad. 63-43, or something like that. My friend Aleksandar (from Hamber who didn't make the team) was on the benches watching us while doing his homework. Anyhow, I didn't score a single goal and was failing again. So sad.
Homework wasn't all that bad. I finished english and science no problem and had a good nights sleep.

Today: Was great. We did an easy class of lit circles, and science we had a lab and 25 min quiz that didn't make too much sense. And that was basically our day! It was bulldog classic all afternoon long and basketball practice. We succeeded the practise so badly that the coach didn't assign us any pushups or lines! Yeah...We were awesome.

Ms. Tang started loading homework on us from day one. Anyways, that was the least of my worries that morning. We ran 20s again, and I absouloutely crashed out in the end. I later found out I didn't make the last 2. The day went past pretty easy, AS notes, SS National geography quiz, strings and french. We had another gruesome pushups and running incorporated practise after school.

I made all twenty lines on tuesday. What was most amazing was that I could walk afterwards! Amazing. School was significiently harder today. We had Ms. Tang. On the first day of class, we recieve a Unit 2 test and two labs for next class. Plus our science fair, which is due the 12th of Feburary, I will get crushed under all that pressure. Math was ok,I stil have to finish a bit of work, and gym was cool. Vaulting was awesome! We had another practise after school.

However I did get a really short haircut and leftovers for breakfast and lunch. Nice right? Did harmony for three hours violin for two.

What a day. Today is New Years! We Invited aout 8 people over from my mom's work, and we started cooking dinner from about 11 in the morning. You know how stressed I was? Then iwent to Wayne's place to fail our science fair project... SO sad.
